Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• pnpm (recommended) or npm

Installation

cd site
pnpm install

Development

Start the development server:

pnpm dev

Visit http://localhost:5173 in your browser.

Building

Create a production build (main app + docs):

pnpm build

Output:

• dist/ - Main app
• dist/docs/ - VitePress documentation (auto-copied)

Build steps (automated):

1. Build main app → dist/
2. Build VitePress docs → docs/.vitepress/dist/
3. Copy docs to dist/docs/

Preview Production Build

darkhttpd dist --port 8080

Access:

• Main app: http://localhost:8080/
• Docs: http://localhost:8080/docs/

Both apps served from single directory!

OpenBSD Setup

On OpenBSD, the required native bindings are automatically downloaded during pnpm install via the postinstall hook.

The installation scripts will fetch binaries from:

• https://github.com/nikescar/tailwind-openbsd-bindings/releases/latest

If you need to manually download or update bindings:

# Run the installation scripts directly
bash scripts/install-tailwind-openbsd.sh
bash scripts/install-rolldown-openbsd.sh

The scripts will:

1. Download missing binaries from GitHub releases
2. Patch node_modules to use the OpenBSD bindings
3. Verify the installation

Testing

Run tests:

pnpm test

Watch mode:

pnpm test:watch
